Vice President Zhang Wenjun Meets with the Delegation from Omron China

On the morning of April 26, the new general manager and ex-general manager of Omron China visited SJTU. SJTU Vice President Zhang Wenjun had a meeting with the ex-general manager Ryunosuke Goto and the new general manager Koshi Doi.
Vice President Zhang Wenjun highly appreciated the collaboration and technical exchanges between SJTU and Omron in industry-university research cooperation and thanked the ex-general manager Mr. Goto for his contribution in promoting the bilateral cooperation. In the meanwhile, he hoped that the two parties would further the cooperation in the Internet of Things, extend the development of new technologies and products in the field of sensing, and yield positive results in the combination of medicine and industry in the future under General Manager Mr. Doi's leadership. Mr. Doi thanked Vice President Zhang Wenjun for his warm reception and said that Omron China would strengthen the cooperation with SJTU on the existing platform and explore new projects of cooperation.
General Manager Xia Mu and Vice-General Manager Wu Yue of Omron Institute of Sensing & Control Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Head of SJTU Division of International Exchange & Cooperation Zhang Weimin, Professor Cao Qixin, Professor Ma Lizhuang and Professor Zhao Hui attended the meeting.
Upon invitation, the delegation of Omron China also watched the robot show in Engineering Training Center.
