Rector of University of Bonn Leads a Delegation to Visit SJTU

SJTU Vice Presidents Su Ming and Zhang Wenjun met with their counterpart of University of Bonn, Rector Prof. Jürgen Fohrmann on September 13.

Prof. Jürgen Fohrmann spoke highly of the profound history of college education and a diverse disciplines advantage boasted by SJTU and looked forward to further cooperation.

During this meeting, Su Ming welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced the development of SJTU. We have been in touch with European especially German universities as expressed by Su Ming. He also invited the faculty and students from Uni-Bonn to research and exchange at SJTU.

Zhang Wenjun showed a strong will to reinforce the cooperation between SJTU and Uni-Bonn in fields of engineering, medical science, law and humanities.

After the meeting, both sides exchanged their gifts.
