President Zhang Jie and Vice President Cai Wei met with Vice-Chancellor of University of Adelaide (Australia)

On October 10, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Adelaide Warren Bebbington led a delegation to visit SJTU. President Zhang Jie and Vice President Cai Wei met with them. The visiting delegation also included the Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) Kent Anderson and Associate Prof. Paul Thomas.

Upon the invitation of Zhang Jie, Prof. Warren Bebbington guested on the President's Forum and gave an excellent report titled "Teaching and Learning in Western Universities" which attracted hundreds of SJTU faculty and students.

Accompanied by Cai Wei, the delegation came to the Institute of Pediatric Research of Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to SJTU and visited several key labs.

SJTU and University of Adelaide have kept close and good communication. Both sides share a profound foundation for cooperation in bioscience. In future, personnel exchange will be further expanded to actively explore scientific research cooperation.
