President Zhang Jie attended the opening ceremony of China-German E-Mobility Forum 

On October 16, the opening ceremony of China-German E-Mobility Forum was held in Gaotian (Takada) Meeting Hall, Minhang Campus.

People attended the forum including Dr. Nils Schmidt, Deputy State Premier, State Senator and Minister of Finance and Economy of the state of Baden-Württemberg, Dr. Simone Schwanitz, Deputy Minister of Sciences, Research and the Arts of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Zhang Jie, President of SJTU, Fan Jian, Commissioner of Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and Liu Jianhua, Director of Shanghai New Energy Vehicle Promotion Office.

Zhang Jie and Nils Schmidt addressed the ceremony separately.

China-German E-Mobility Forum is to be held during Oct 15-17 at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The discussion focuses on the development, research cooperation, support construction and the laws and regulations of electric automobile. It aims to strengthen the consociation between China and Germany and develop the e-mobility industry together.

The e-mobility delegation from state of Baden-Württemberg, scholars from Chinese and German universities and research institutions, SJTU faculty and students, and automobile industrial representatives also attended this forum.
