Vice President Zheng Chengliang Leads an SJTU Delegation to Visit France

During Nov. 5 to 9, the SJTU humanities delegation, headed by Vice President Zheng Chengliang, visited University of Paris-Sorbonne, French Academy of Sciences, Université Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne, Université de Nice (Sophia-Antipolis), the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme and Ecole pratique des hautes études. They also signed the GIP protocol.

On the signing ceremony held by French Academy of Sciences, Zheng Chengliang gave a speech.

University of Paris-Sorbonne, Université Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne, and Université de Nice (Sophia-Antipolis) showed enthusiasm and concern on the cooperation in the area of humanities and social sciences with SJTU in the long run.

Exchange visits are encouraged to promote research collaboration and projects of visiting professors and student exchange on the basis of inter-university cooperation agreement.

The studies on humanities and social sciences of University of Paris-Sorbonne, Université Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne, and Université de Nice (Sophia-Antipolis) are featured. Meanwhile the rest institutions visited are representatives of the highest-level scientific institutions among temporary research on this area in France.
