President Zhang Jie attended  the naming ceremony of SJTU "Yang Wing Man Building"

On December 24, the naming ceremony of SJTU "Yang Wing Man Building" was held on Minhang Campus.

Managing Director of Alfax Orient Ltd Ms. Yang Wing Man and her husband Dr. Dan Bing Kwan Robert, Vice President of Central Committee of Chinese Peasants and Worker' Democratic Party and Vice President of Shanghai CPPCC Zuo Huanchen, former Deputy Head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee Jin Minzhu, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Sha Yi, SJTU President Zhang Jie, Vice President Xu Fei and others attended the ceremony.

Zhang Jie welcomed Ms. Yang Wing Man and other guests. He said the building of School of Foreign Languages is named after Ms. Yang in honor of her generous donation and contribution to the university.

In her speech, Ms. Yang expressed her patriotic feelings: commitment to the nation and to the cause of education. She thanked the family members for their enduring support and encouragement to her endeavor to give back to the society.

Yang Wing Man, Dan Bing Kwan Robert, Zuo Huanchen, Jin Minzhu, Sha Yi and Zhang Jie unveiled the building.
