President Zhang Jie met Frederic Dardel, President of Paris Descartes University March 14, 2013 On March 11, President Zhang Jie met Frederic Dardel, President of Paris Descartes University and his group. They signed schools cooperation framework agreement and renewed scientific research master joint cultivation agreement. Zhang Jie welcomed Dardel's visit to SJTU and expressed satisfaction over the 30 years fruitful cooperation and achievements made by two schools. Zhang Jie introduced honored history and fast development of SJTU and thanked the talent cultivation support from Paris Descartes University to SJTU School of Medicine, especially Medical French Class. Dardel thanked Zhang Jie's reception and said that Life science and Medicine are school's focal points and come out in front in France. Two schools have a lot in common and have great potential in bilateral cooperation. He hoped that both sides can explore new cooperation opportunity on the basis of former successful collaborate. Vice Dean of School of Medicine Huang Gang，Vice Dean Fu Lei, Director of Institute of Biomedical Manufactory and Life Quality Engineering in School of Mechanical Engineering Luo Yun attended the meeting. Dardel and his group visited School of Medicine after meeting.
