President of Universität Stuttgart Signed Cooperation Agreement with SJTU

On the afternoon of July1, President of German Universität Stuttgart Wolfram Ressel visited SJTU, and president Zhang Jie gave him a warmhearted welcome. President Zhang said that Universität Stuttgart is a famous university of science and engineering in German and that the two universities had already cooperated with each other in various fields. He hoped that through this agreement a long-term cooperation between the two universities could be carried out comprehensively at various levels. Wolfram Ressel agreed with president Zhang and said that in China's huge and booming market, Shanghai Jiao Tong University which has the same background in science and engineering with Universität Stuttgart, would be one of the most important partners of Universität Stuttgart.

After the meeting, president Zhang and Wolfram Ressel signed the Shanghai Jiaotong University - Universität Stuttgart Cooperation Framework Agreement and Students Exchange Agreement with School of Mechanical Engineering.

Liu Yingzheng, Vice President of School of Mechanical Engineering, and Guo Liang, Deputy Director of Division of International Cooperation &Exchange, also attended the meeting.
