SJTU and AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co. Ltd Build Joint Innovation Center

On June 23, the Joint Innovation Center on commercial aviation engine turbo-machinery aerodynamic heat transfer technology built by SJTU and AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co. Ltd was established. General Manager Wang Zhilin, Vice-general Manager Zhang Yujin and Feng Jinzhang, SJTU President Zhang Jie, Vice President Guo Xinli and Lin Zhongqin, and people in charge of relative departments attended the ceremony.

One the ceremony, SJTU Professor He Li was invited as the chief expert of the Joint Innovation Center.

Wang Linzhi said that the purpose of this project is to form long-term cooperation platform with prestigious university, and work jointly on the research of key technology of commercial aircraft engine.

President Zhang Jie responsed that to make contribution to the country in the field of aircraft has long been a dream of SJTU.

Guo Lixin extended hope that the two sides will develop together in the process of cooperation.

Lin Zhongqin hoped that SJTU could provide support to the research of AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co. Ltd beyond the current cooperative fields.
