President of UNSW Visited SJTU

From September 22 to 23, Prof. Hilmer, President of University of New South Wales (UNSW) visited SJTU. SJTU Chairperson Jiang Sixian and President Zhang Jie met with the delegation.

On the afternoon of September 22, on behalf of SJTU, Jiang extended warm welcome to President Hilmer. Jiang expressed his vivid memory of visiting UNSW in the first half year and extended his sincere welcome to the delegation. He hoped that the relationship between SJTU and UNSW could be strengthened.

Hilmer expressed that the friendship and connection between professors and administrative staff in both universities served as the software. It was the friendship that made the sustainable and stable development of the cooperation between SJTU and UNSW possible.

On the morning of September 23, President Zhang Jie held a meeting with administrative staff from the delegation. Zhang and Hilmer introduced respectively the development strategies and latest achievements of SJTU and UNSW.

 

After the meeting, Zhang and Hilmer attended and addressed the closing ceremony of the First Review Meeting of SJTU-UNSW Joint Research Fund.
