SJTU and International Scholars Gathered in 5th International Business School Shanghai Conference

From Oct.9 to 10, 2014, the Fifth International Business School Shanghai Conference was held in Shanghai. Organized by Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the conference focused on "innovation & entrepreneurship". Over 260 Deans of prestigious business schools and other guests from 38 countries and regions, 160 organizations all over the world attended the conference, in which they talked about innovation and entrepreneurship. SJTU Chairperson of the University Council Jiang Sixian, SJTU President Zhang Jie and SJTU Deputy Party secretary Zhu Jian were also present at the conference.

Jiang Sixian said that education innovation is a common issue that all educational institutions throughout the world were facing, as well as the challenge for China.

Zhang Jie, on behalf of SJTU, expressed warm congratulations on the opening of the conference.

Zhou Lin, Dean of Antai College of Economics & Management, SJTU talked about the background of establishing the conference topic.

Deans of Duke's Fuqua School of Business, Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, ESADE Business School, Guanghua School of Management, Peking University and other business schools made speeches on the conference theme.

International Business School Conference, right behind the annual meeting of AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EFMD (European Foundation For Management Development), is noteworthy for its global scale and scope, offering a wide space of international communication and cooperation for management education in China.
