UCL President Michael Arthur Led Delegation to SJTU

On November 26, 2019, Professor Michael Arthur, President of University College London, led a delegation to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. SJTU Party Secretary Jiang Sixian, Vice President and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Huang Zhen met with the guests.

On behalf of SJTU, Jiang Sixian welcomed the delegation. He noted that internationalization is one of the main strategies of SJTU. Based on a number of close cooperation with UCL, SJTU hopes to expand the scale of student exchange and cooperation. Jiang Sixian expressed the expectation that two universities will reach a new level of cooperation. Huang Zhen introduced specific policies of internationalization in SJTU.

Professor Michael Arthur thanked Shanghai Jiaotong University for the warm welcome and introduced the development of UCL. Mr. Arthur said that UCL attaches great importance to international cooperation, and hopes to expand the student exchange in the fields of medicine and engineering.
