As a master of sinology, Tang Wenzhi created a new way of chanting poems and he to a large extent impacted the naming of our university, Jiao Tong. The Bronze Statue, standing at the corner of Wenzhi Avenue and S. Siyuan Rd., is cast in bronze. Its granite base is 2.8 meters high, with the statue standing on it. President Tang holds in his left hand the book "High School Lecture Notes", which was written by himself, and places his right hand behind his back, exactly imitating his posture of chanting "Tang Tune" and meanwhile standing for his raising heads and eyes watching SJTU with a gratified smile.
