Biography
Professor Zhu Jian became a staff member of SJTU in July 1997. He obtained his doctoral degree in management from Antai College of Economics & Management, SJTU.
Professor Zhu Jian got his double bachelor degrees from School of Mechanical Engineering, SJTU in 1997. Prof. Zhu got a master degree in law and his doctoral degree in management, while he worked as a staff member of SJTU.
After his graduation in 1997, Professor Zhu Jian started his career as a young staff member at SJTU. He has worked in SJTU Career Guidance Office for Graduate Students, Office of CPC SJTU Committee, and SJTU Students Affairs Steering Committee.
Professor Zhu Jian is Vice Secretary of Fudaoyuan Affairs Research Branch of China Higher Education Association (FAR). He is also Vice Director of Moral Branch of The Chinese Society of Academic Degrees and Graduate Education (CSADGE). He has received many rewards, such as Distinguished Person of 2010’ Shanghai World Expo Volunteers Work. In the field of ideological and political education and entrepreneurship education, he has published more than 10 papers, and led the research of multiple provincial research projects. He has been awarded numerous prizes, including the Distinguished Paper Award of the 9th National University Youth Moral Education Worker Theory Seminar, the First Prize in the National Innovation and Development in Moral Education and the Special Award of Teaching Achievement in SJTU.
Vice President Zhu Jian is responsible for overseeing the student affairs, propaganda, arts and sports of the university.
